The OSCF State Co-Ed Chess Championship (May 2026) requires each team to include at least two girls, which can make it difficult for many students to form teams—even when plenty of players want to compete. In many cases, girls who play chess are spread across different schools or simply aren’t connected through the same chess networks yet.
To help solve this, Puddletown is offering a simple way for families to connect with other players who are also looking for teammates. If your child needs teammates or if your child is a girl interested in joining a team, please fill out this quick form:

Important: Puddletown is not forming teams. We strongly encourage students to compete with teammates from their own school whenever possible. Our role is simply to introduce families who may want to form teams together, especially if their schools do not yet have enough players.
ALSO NOTE: We have volunteer leads who will be matching players and connecting them in the backend, because we don’t want to disclose contact information publicly.
