Eevie Bio

A 7th grader at BASE, Eevie discovered her passion for chess in 2023, jumped into the tournament circuit in 2024 by playing her first ever tournament at Puddletown itself, and has quickly risen to become one of the top-ranked female youth players in Oregon. She regularly breaks barriers, competing as one of the few girls in the open sections of local tournaments and claiming her spot as one of the top middle school girl players in Beaverton. Her dedication is on full display in her trophy cabinet, which is already packed with awards.
Eevie thrives on sharp, aggressive gameplay, drawing inspiration from International Masters Divya Deshmukh and Vantika Agrawal. When she isn’t studying the legendary games of Vishy Anand and Bobby Fischer, she is busy honing her skills every chance she gets.
Beyond the 64 squares, Eevie is a math enthusiast, a devoted Harry Potter fan (books and movies alike), and a music lover who enjoys using AI tools like Claude and Gemini to tweak Dhurandhar songs.
