Eesha leads the development and support of Puddletown’s coaching team. This role recruits and trains coaches, provides ongoing feedback and mentorship, coordinates coaching assignments, and helps maintain a high standard of teaching across programs. The Director also creates pathways for experienced students to grow into coaches, mentors, and future leaders.
Hayul Lim
Director of Academic Programs
Hayul oversees the structure and development of Puddletown’s academic and training programs. This role defines learning pathways, academic goals, and expected outcomes for each level, reviews student progress, and identifies opportunities to strengthen or expand the curriculum. The Director helps ensure every student has a clear path to continue learning and progressing.
Boon Kai (Ben) Tong
Director of Curriculum & Instruction
Boon Kai (Ben) develops and maintains Puddletown’s chess curriculum. He creates lesson plans, worksheets, exercises, assessments, and other teaching materials. Organize curriculum by rating and skill level. Also define the content and skills students should learn at each level. He reviews and update slearning materials regularly. Provide curriculum resources for coaches to use in their classes. Ensure instructional materials are clear, consistent, and age appropriate.
Prisha Aswal
Director of Student Development & Diversity Programs
Prisha creates and manages programs that strengthen student engagement, confidence, leadership, and teamwork, focusing on increasing girls’ and broader inclusive participation and long‑term involvement in chess through events, partnerships, and enrichment opportunities. She is focused on building a welcoming environment where students can grow, contribute, and stay connected to the Puddletown community.
Vedanth Yada
Director of Technology & AI
Vedanth leads Puddletown’s technology strategy, including software, AI, data, and digital platforms. Oversees development of the Chess LMS and other technology tools that support students, coaches, and operations. He uses data, analytics, and AI to improve learning experiences and make Puddletown’s programs more effective and scalable.
Dhruv Barve
Director of Operations
Dhruv leads Puddletown’s day-to-day operations, including registrations, scheduling, facilities, equipment, and event logistics. He coordinates resources, timelines, and administrative processes to keep programs running smoothly. And he also helps turn organizational plans into reliable, well-executed programs and events.
Ashwini Chandrashekaran
Director of Marketing & Digital Media
Ashwini leads Puddletown’s marketing, communications, and digital presence. She promotes our programs and events through social media, newsletters, the website, graphics, videos, and other content. Ashwini is adept at building a consistent brand while sharing community achievements and helping Puddletown reach more students, families, volunteers, and partners.
