Vimal Bio
Vimal Adiraju is a freshman at Sunset High School. He has been playing chess since second grade and has competed in many tournaments since then, including the OSCF State Championship at Seaside and Chess for Success Individual Tournaments. He has been part of the school chess teams in elementary, middle, and high schools and has competed in both OSCF Team Tournaments as well as Chess for Success Team Tournaments. Vimal also enjoys programming, math, rock climbing, and swimming.

- 2023 OSCF State Championship – 2nd place High School Silver
- 2019 OSCF State Championship – 4th place Elementary Platinum
- 2019 Chess For Success Individual State Championship – 1st place
- 2018 Chess For Success Individual State Championship – 1st place
- 2017 OSCF State Championship – Honorable Mention Elementary Silver
- 2016 OSCF State Championship – 4th place Primary Silver
