Austin Bio
Austin Liu is a junior at Skyline High School, where he serves as captain of the school chess team. He is a National Master and the top-ranked player for his age in Washington. He first started playing chess in 2018, and has attended hundreds of tournaments since then. He has a passion for teaching chess, volunteering at his library’s youth chess club along with running an instructional chess blog with over 10,000 views. In his free time, he enjoys math, programming, and writing.
