Kavish Dhar

Kavish Dhar is currently an 8th grader at Stoller Middle School. He started playing chess in the 5th grade and has played competitively ever since. He has competed in many tournaments since then, including the Seattle Chess Classic, where he placed first in the U1600 section. He has also competed in the OSCF Individual and CO-ED State Championships, where he led his team to win the championships a total of 4 times and 2 board awards at the CO-ED Tournaments. In addition, he also has multiple podium finishes at the individual championship. Besides chess, he enjoys swimming, basketball, math, and hanging out with his friends and family
