I am thrilled to share exciting news from the 2024 Oregon Scholastic Chess Federation (OSCF) State Championships. This year’s event was a big success for us, and I want to thank our players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters.
Puddletown players performed very well, racking up a total of 23 prizes across various levels. From perfect scores in the platinum sections to plus/even medals in the lower sections, our list of winners is extensive. Congratulations! Whether you ended up on the winner’s podium or not, your participation and enthusiasm are what make you special. In addition, Puddletown Chess donated $1,200 to OSCF for this event and awarded $600 in cash prizes to the top three finishers in the Platinum sections.
