Karthik Bio
Karthik Bimod is currently in 7th grade at Stoller Middle School. He began playing casual chess in India before moving to Portland Oregon in 2022. He participated in his first rated tournament during the 2023 OSCF Team championship, and since then in one year he crossed 1600 USCF rating. He also participated and won several awards in Open & Scholastic Chess tournaments. Other than Chess, Karthik likes playing sports like Soccer and Badminton. Karthik also likes traveling and going on long nature trails.
