November is that time of year when the leaves fall and the air gets a bit chilly, but it’s also the time when chess starts to heat up our beloved city of Portland! On November 11th, we’re hosting a chess tournament, and you’re all invited to join the fun.
In November, the world outside changes, just like the chessboard. The wind might try to play with your chess pieces a little, but that makes the game even more cool. We want you to be a part of it!
Portland looks beautiful in the fall, and our chess tournament is like a big chess party. Whether you’re new to chess or already a chess pro, come make new friends, have some hot pizza, and a whole lot more, and enjoy the fun of chess in November. See you there!
