Welcome to Pudddletown’s 2025 June Webinar hosted by co-founder Neev Kodarapu. During this highly interactive session, Neev will share these key strategies to help our young chess players improve their game:

1. Command the Center: Controlling the middle squares early makes your pieces super strong across the whole board and helps you launch attacks.
2. Piece Coordination Over Pawn Storms: Get all your pieces working together like a winning team to create powerful attacks and control more space.
3. Open Files and Diagonals: Create open files and long diagonals on the board so your rooks and bishops can zip into your opponent’s territory.
4. Target the weak squares: Find squares your opponent can’t easily protect and send your pieces there to cause trouble and create winning chances.
5. Strike When the timing is right: Pay close attention to the timing of your moves and wait for the right moment to make your best moves and catch your opponent off guard.
6. Exchange Defenders: Trade your pieces to remove the pieces protecting your opponent’s king or key squares, making their position weaker.
