Our May chess tournament was unlike any other tournament we have held before. This time, we decided to do a “Spring Festival”, which is a regular Swiss tournament and not quads styled. We had an outstanding turnout with over 80 players coming to the tournament. We had 3 big sections, divided into U600, U900, and the Open. Big shoutout to Max, Emir, Benedetto, Luke, Jeffrey, Abigail, Jack, William, Micah, Alejandro, Nathan, Jai, August, Andrew, Tripthi, Ruzgar, Maddie, Riley, Vincent, and Blake for playing in their first tournament!
Our U600 section had many players, more than the other 2 sections combined, so we had many rewards to give out to them. Even and plus-score medal winners included – Nirvaan, Micah, William, Parth, Jack, Matisse, Aksh, Arian, Matteo, Abigail, Henry, Jeffrey, Joey, Neha, Lucas, James, Luke, Aditya, Isaiah, Kieran, Henry, and Namish. Our trophies went to the top 3 players in the section.

Our medal winners for the U900 section were – Beatrix, Prisha, Jayden, Eesha, Chloe, Josiah, William, Riaan, and Krish.

Finally, our top section… Medal winners included – Cesareo, Anthony, Aadi, Liam, Calvin, Jerry, David, Philip, and Elijah.
