Bio
Austin Tang is the Founder and the Co-President for Puddletown Chess. Austin is currently a USCF Candidate Master, and as of November 2024, he is 36 points away from National Master. Austin enjoys traveling to different states and countries and meeting new people all around the world. He also wants to share his experience with everyone who wants to learn chess. Austin is excited to teach new players of all ages this beautiful game. When he isn’t studying chess, he enjoys doing things like basketball, piano, tennis, and reading.

- Champion – 2024 Oregon Class Championship (Expert/Master Section)
- Lead Puddletown 1 to victory in the Open section of 2024 Co-ed Chess (K-12 and Mixed section)
- Champion-2024 Oregon Closed Invitational (Challengers section) with a perfect score
- Represented Oregon in the 2023 and 2024 National Barber Championship
- Champion-2022 Oregon Closed Invitational (Challengers section)
