During the lunch break of the Spring Festival, we held a simul, or simultaneous exhibition, where one player (typically a stronger player) plays multiple opponents at the same time. Two titled players hosted the simul: NM Wilson Gibbins and WIM Zoey Tang. The players had 10 minutes, while Wilson and Zoey had 20 minutes. There were so many players who wanted to join and we had to turn people down in the end. As the simul went on, more and more people came to watch and formed a giant circle around the tables. A lot of talking, shouting and laughter bursted out of the circle, which attracted even more people and some had little room to stand 🙂 Huge thanks to Wilson for making this exciting event possible.
