- USCF-Rated Chess Tournament
- Format: Quads, play players with similar ratings/strength
- Date: Sunday October 2nd, 2022
- Time: 2pm-6pm
- Place: Godfather’s Pizza (11140 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR 97225)
- Rounds: 3
- Time Control: G25+5 (each player has 25 minutes with 5-second increment for each move)
- Prize: 1st place for each quad gets a trophy or Puddletown T-shirt
- Entry fee: $25, Make payment to our Paypal: puddletownchess@gmail.com
- while making payment, please add the player’s FULL name and USCF ID (if any) in the Paypal note
- Preregistration only, no on-site registration
- Free game analysis with WIM Zoey and top Oregon scholastic players Ishaan & Austin
- Free pizza for players
- Qualifier for the OSCF State Championship
- US Chess membership is required, which can be purchased on the US Chess website (www.uschess.org) or during registration: US Chess membership rates/information/benefits
- Photo Release: By registering for this event, you hereby give permission for your child to be photographed during the tournaments. We might also reproduce these pictures to be used in educational and/or promotional materials produced by Puddletown Chess. Further, we want to clarify that neither you nor your child will receive any compensation for the use of these photographs. If for any reason you cannot agree with any part of this photo release, please email your objection to puddletownchess@gmail.com after completing this form and we will make sure the tournament organizers WON’T take pictures of your player.
- Health Safety: If you have any symptoms of COVID or any other infection, you will not be allowed to participate and your full tournament registration fees will be refunded. Also, if you are sick (or recovering from illness), please do not come. In that case, please send us a text message (@ 503-419-7097 or 503-888-5973) on the tournament day and we will refund the full tournament registration fees.
