Vedanth Yada
Vedanth is currently a freshman at Westview High School, who has been a competitive chess player in Oregon since 2024. Having represented both Stoller Middle School and Westview High School in multiple individual and team state championships, he is a regular at the local scholastic tournaments. He has a genuine passion for sharing what he’s learned with others and finds great value in teaching his knowledge to players just starting their journey.
Aside from chess, Vedanth is an avid problem-solver who enjoys working through complex puzzles and exploring the logic found in mathematics and circuitry. When he isn’t at the board or diving into a new challenge, he stays active playing basketball and pickleball.
